**WEIGHT OF DIGIT IN DECIMAL**

**The position of each digits in a decimal number indicates the weight which is assigned to the digit. By weight we mean as to how much that digit can contribute in the overall value of the number.**

**For Example:**

**Express the decimal number “58” as a sum of the value of each digit.**

**SOLUTION:**

** In this question the digit 5 has a weight of 10 (10) as indicate by its position. The digit 8 has a weight of 1(10); as indicated by its position.**

**Express the decimal number 568.25 as a sum of value of each digit.**
