COUNT IN EACH NUMBER SYSTEM

COUNT IN EACH NUMBER SYSTEM

To learn to count in any number system, Let us first look at how we count in decimal we start (0) and count up (9) before we run out of digits.

An analogous situation comes in every number system, e.g. in binary we begin counting 0, 1. After this all the available numeric’s have been consumed once, and we are analogously standing at 9 , and are therefore in need of another digit which must be added to the left, so we start at 10 and then 11. Again all possible combination of two digits taken two at a time are exhausted so, a new digit must be added, so 100 is the obvious choice and then 101, 110, 111…. and so on.
